About Us

The Empowerment Echo Foundation is a youth-led CBO dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities, mainly the youth, particularly in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) regions, to achieve food security, sustainable livelihoods, and resilience in climate change. In addition, it focuses on charity, assisting widows, the elderly, orphans, and People With Disabilities by offering relief items such as clothes, food, and dignity kits. The organization has impacted over 70 households over the last three months and is running several small-scale projects around Tharaka-Nithi County.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities, particularly in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) regions, to achieve food security, sustainable livelihoods, and resilience in the face of climate change. We strive to create a lasting echo of positive change by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, diversifying income sources, and fostering youth engagement and community participation.

  • A total of 75 households (375 individuals) have been impacted.

  • Training and distribution of seeds and seedlings to 34 households
