Kaare Initiative Success

As at 26th May 2025, it’s almost a whole year with this group, Mutethia group working
hand in hand with the Empowerment Echo Foundation. Again, this is our second
planting season with them. What success story do they have? What are the challenges
that they have faced and how has our organisation helped them through their journey?
On this date we pay a visit to the group and gather tangible data from it.
Martha and Rose had this to say (Ref. you tube video, Mutethia 1, uploaded on 30th same
month):
“We have benefited because this organisation has sponsored us. It has donated
seedlings and given to us more other related things to make sure we are still energetic
enough to continue doing agriculture. According to us, you are only helping us”, says
Martha.
“My point of view is this, that there is something big within us. For instance, each one of
us has their own farm and now we have this one as a group. I earned and used the
money to pay school fees without touching the earnings from my personal farm and that
is profit,” says Rose, the chairlady.
